This hydrosol is obtained by distillation of the young twigs and buds (not the fruit/berries). It has a very distinctive aroma with tangy, planty notes. Its pH of 3.6 corroborates this impression. It contains tannins, which is rare for hydrosol . The result is worth the diversions: quite atypical in its category, its sumptuous aroma makes you salivate!

The fruity note is sure to boost the morale of those who want to get on with the day.

Bound with water, blackcurrant hydrosol is a digestive. An excellent partner for gourmets. It will facilitate the digestion of a copious meal. More widely, we find a characteristic of blackcurrant documented by phytotherapy and gemmotherapy: the hydrosol is a precious help when the terrain is conducive to disabling joint problems.

Purifying and detoxifying, try it alone or in combination with juniper hydrosol. Both promote the elimination of water.

Experiment in the sensory field! It can be added to water to make a pleasant energy drink. Other possibilities: sorbets, flavouring fruit compotes, making cocktails, deglazing game meat, etc.

The 200 ml bottles combine lightness with optimal protection: an aluminium outer shell and an inner layer made from food-grade, bisphenol A-free resin, providing an effective UV barrier and good thermal insulation. This choice also helps to reduce the carbon footprint thanks to the lightweight packaging.

We also organise the recycling of the aluminium: the bottles can be returned to Bioflore in Wavre or to L’Herboristerie de Louise in Brussels, to be sent to a company that recycles and reuses the material.

As they contain no preservatives, we recommend storing our hydrosols in the fridge to best preserve their quality and avoid exposure to temperature fluctuations.

Once opened, we recommend using them within 3 months.
